Robert (Bob) Bradway Jr. was born and raised in Copake New York, deeply rooted in the farming community. From a young age, he spent time on job sites alongside his father, learning the value of hard work. After graduating from Taconic Hills High School in 2001, Bob immersed himself in the construction world, gaining hands-on experience with various local contractors. His journey eventually led him to Dell’s Plumbing & Heating, where he found his passion in the plumbing, heating, and air conditioning trades.

In 2009, during one of the most challenging economic periods—the Great Recession—Bob launched Robert Bradway’s Plumbing & Heating Inc. With just a truck, a trailer, a few dollars, and a vision, he built his company from the ground up through sheer determination and long hours. Today, the business thrives proudly serving all of Columbia County.

The company operates out of a 10,000 square foot warehouse located in the town of Hillsdale, NY, powered and heated by green energy systems. The office is complete with a Mitsubishi showroom.

Our Team & Operations

Robert Bradway’s Plumbing & Heating now operates a fleet of 11 fully stocked trucks, ready to provide efficient, same-day, on-site service across Columbia County and surrounding areas.

Our team has grown to include multiple full-time, highly skilled plumbing and HVAC technicians, each trained in the latest technologies and committed to delivering quality workmanship.

We also have a fully staffed office to ensure smooth communication and scheduling, along with dedicated management personnel and a rebate specialist to assist customers in maximizing available energy rebates and incentives.

From the first phone call to the final inspection, every part of our team is focused on providing an outstanding customer experience—with the personalized care of a family-owned business and the professionalism of a top-tier service provider.

Family-Owned and Community-Focused

Rachael, Bob’s wife (they married in 2008), runs the office and handles all business relations. Their three young children are often part of the day-to-day life of the business—frequently seen greeting the team while rollerblading around the shop, using the warehouse batting cage, assisting in the office, or even helping on a job site.
