Robert (Bob) Bradway Jr was born and raised in Copake, New York. He grew up immersed in the farming community and was a regular on job sites, with his father. After graduation from Taconic Hills in 2001, he threw himself into the construction world. Working for several different contractors within the local area. Eventually, this led him to Dell’s Plumbing & Heating. Where he embraced the plumbing, heating, and A/C fields, learning the valuable trades.
With a vision, determination and undeniable drive Bob started Robert Bradway’s Plumbing & Heating Inc in 2009, during the recession. He only had a truck, trailer, a few dollars in his pocket and his name. After working endless days and tireless nights, he persevered and beat the odds. Robert Bradway’s Plumbing & Heating Inc is now located in Hillsdale, NY servicing Columbia County. The business is run out of the home that him and his wife bought in 2011. The property is a non operational farm which has been in his wife’s family for 100 years and now five generations. His shop is a newly renovated barn which is lined with shelves, amongst the old milking parlor. The shop is powered and heated by renewable energy sources.
Currently he has 2 box trucks and 1 service truck. Each vehicle is fully stocked with parts, for on site, same day service. There are four full time employees. Justin Carter, Justin Stallman, Vaughn Bordas and his brother Peter Bradway. Each are individuals who excel in many different aspects within the field. They are all very hard working men, each putting in long days and late nights, to satisfy the customers. You can often find all of the men including Bob taking classes together to expand their knowledge within the field, and learn about the latest technologies.
His wife Rachael whom he married in 2008 runs the office and all business relations. The office is no stranger to anyone of his three very small children. Who are regulars at greeting the men and to chime in on their days activities. Bob is also known to be the other person on the end of the phone when you call, to talk you thru an issue or schedule an appointment. He is frequently conducting early morning business or ordering parts while waiting at the morning bus stop with his eldest son. Robert Bradway’s Plumbing and Heating is a family run, local business. They are all very attentive to each and every customer, treating them like family.
